"Trust the land and the player to discover each other."

The Vision

In the late 1960’s, William Elliott, George Fazio, William Clay Ford, Sr., and Bob Hope joined ranks for the purpose of establishing an exclusive, private golf club in the Jupiter area of southeast Florida – a club that would eventually rank among the finest in America. The Jupiter Hills Club they formed, with its two marvelous 18-hole championship courses, has achieved the singular distinction the original founders conceived for it. It is today considered one of America’s finest private golf clubs.

The Land

The original rolling scrubland is unique to Florida, the natural hills are emphasized by high elevations above sea level.  These became the primary reasons for the rich history now belonging to this beautiful land, the home of Jupiter Hills Club.

Because they are superbly situated on the dunes and rolling hills of the coastal zone, the golf courses resemble the finest courses of the Carolina sand hills, with one unique advantage; they enjoy the benevolence of a year-round subtropical climate.

The Hills Course, 7,344 Yards, Par 70
Construction of the Hills Course began in May, 1969.  It is a natural oasis of beauty and ruggedness carved out of uncharacteristic Florida topography varying as much as 80 feet from hilltop to valley.

The championship layout brings together the land and player through hilly fairways and golf holes woven through forests of pine, oak and palmetto.

The Village Course, 6,812 Yards, Par 72
The Village Course opened in 1979.  Designed by George Fazio and his nephew, Tom, it is similar in terrain to the Hills Course, but distinctive in character and ambience, providing a totally different challenge.

The Club
The nature and purpose of Jupiter Hills Club is to operate as a private golf club for the enjoyment of the sport of golf and for the social benefit of its members.

The courses exemplified natural beauty which set the stage for a golf club with wonderful atmosphere, including open tees, fast play and friendly tradition.  The pace is unhurried and unstructured; the golf courses picturesque and challenging; the membership is respectful of Club traditions and their fellow members.

This tradition carries over to the entire staff, providing the ultimate in golf courtesy and environment.

The Members
Membership is by invitation only and has been carefully planned in order to establish only 400 members for the two golf courses.

Members of Jupiter Hills Club are totally dedicated to the preservation of traditional golf to be played in the friendly and natural beauty of their surroundings.
